How to Bake a Salmon

A delicious, easy to cook dish that is healthy meal for your family, baked salmon. Let’s see how to bake a salmon. There are two ways to bake a salmon:

In the first option, you will need a salmon of course, a baking dish, and flavors of your choice. If out of options, you can settle for lemon and olive oil.

Keep the oven ready. Preheat the oven between 350 and 450 degrees. Take care not to overcook the salmon.

For flavoring the salmon, you can choose from a variety of options. Simply marinade it overnight with one of the ready mixes, available in stores with ingredients like olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, soy sauce, brown sugar and ginger among others. Or you could pat the fish with some herbs and seasonings like paprika, sea salt or chili powder. Try something like a pineapple. Bake the salmon with a pineapple slice on top of it, the juices will give the fish a kind of a glaze.

Now take the foil or greaseproof paper and brush it with melted butter. Cover the salmon in the foil or greaseproof and seal it to retain the moisture. Your salmon is now ready to be baked in the preheated oven. You can also line an oven-safe baking sheet with aluminum foil to cook the fish on, this will make cleaning the oven much easier. The salmon has to be firm and tender inside. Overcooking will spoil the taste, as it won’t be fresh and succulent.

In the second option, you will need a casserole dish or roasting tray, salmon and flavors of your choice.

Put the salmon in a casserole dish or roasting tray. Add vegetables and white wine for flavoring. You can change the flavoring to suit your taste. Bake till done.
