Symptoms of Hypertension – One Fourth of World Population Unknowingly have it

by admin

According to the latest survey of WHO and its other affiliated countries around the world, one-fourth of the global population is suffering from a silent serious health condition known as hypertension. This is brought about, based on the survey; on the lifestyle modern man is leading and secondary the age factor. It is not at all surprising then that the medical world tagged hypertension as a major health issue ought to be addressed as soon as possible.

Medical explanation concerning this condition tells that this happens when there is too much tension in the heart causing it to work and pump blood harder than it normally should. When the tension in the heart continues for years, this would eventually make the arteries to harden. Most of the times, a person has already suffered kidney and heart problem only to learn that he has been suffering from hypertension.

What makes this condition dangerous is the absence of any obvious symptoms so one can combat it as early as it afflicts a person. One is fooled to think that he is healthy and on tip-top shape because he does not experience any discomfort or sickness. This is why hypertension is called ‘silent killer.’ A person in a sudden, without knowing it, may suffer stroke or aneurysm causing debilitating effect or death because of hypertension.

Hard to tell if one is hypertensive already, there are still few symptoms of hypertension that are there to help the general population mind if they already suffering from this condition.

Shortness of Breath

This is the final symptom of anybody suffering from hypertension. This is considered serious since a person may already be on the brink of having a stroke.

Chronic headaches

When one experiences headache for days without end, consider it as not normal. There is a good probability that that person’s blood pressure is already high; and therefore he is hypertensive.

Helpful stuff. Blood pressure and hypertension have been interests of mine for a long time, and I think that a solid, holistic approach is overall the most promising. You have to eat healthy, exercise, and regularly watch your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and then things should be not too hard. We have lots of info on all that on our site, everyone interested is welcome to take a look.
