Getting stress during this age of modern age is normal. In fact, getting stress is what makes us function and solve numerous challenges and obstacles that we have to face everyday. When threatened or faced by a challenging task, our body reacts or gears up into a fight-or-flight response, which we can also call stress response. Our body exerts extra energy to surpass the challenge. It is explainable then that a person can haul a car by his lonesome if faced by life and death situation.

But when this gear is opened up there are times that the body can no longer switch it off. The effect then is devastating and can be dangerous to ones help. This is when stress is already bad to the body.

Symptoms of stress can affect one’s body and mind. But here is a list of common signs that one is already suffering from stress without him knowing it.

Headaches

There are many kind of headaches. It can be caused by a fever or heat. But if one is experiencing headaches during the times when one is under stress, the probability that it is stress-induced headache is greater.

Anxiety

Experts generally consider anxiety as an experience that helps the need for survival. But feeling anxious all the time can be brought about by many stressors affecting the person. It is advised a person to consult a doctor to relieve him of anxiety when this is already overwhelming.

Frequent Colds or Flu

When one is stressed out, the immune system of the body is affected as well. This is what one calls the inverse relationship between stress and immune system. The immune system does not function well when one is stressed out. So complications the effect of this can be cold and flu.
